In Santa Fe, I started Janscript in earnest and was quite successful. I inscribed wedding and party invitations, restaurant signs and menus, bakery display cards, Supreme Court certificates, and many poems and quotations for people to hang on their walls or to give as gifts.

Since I moved to the Boston area in 1994, I have spent increasingly more time concentrating on my business, and now I am proud to say that I devote most of my time to the art of calligraphy. I have been the official calligrapher for Crane & Co. in Boston since 1995, and many other organizations and individuals around the country have hired me to do various and interesting jobs for them. I do not limit myself to local clients; thanks to technology, lists can be faxed and e-mailed, and envelopes can be shipped to and from anywhere, often with more ease than meeting in person.

I am now offering event planning services in addition to calligraphy. I hope that you will consider Janscript for all of your event's needs. There is nothing more satisfying to me than to envision a theme based on a client's ideas, and to be able to bring it to fruition from beginning to end... and the joy of actually being on-site on the day of the event to see my calligraphy combined with the table settings, flowers, and decorations, is indescribable. I enjoy the details of managing a wedding ceremony: making sure the attendants are in place, the rings are where they're supposed to be, the music begins and ends on time, and that everyone has wonderful memories to last a lifetime.
